1. It's (almost) my birthday!

2. Mega crafting.
This week I've made some cosmetic changes at the Farthing household, including transforming this lamp. Miles parents had it for countless years, then gave it to Miles. It subsequently endured boy college life. I should get an award for making this thing pretty.
Aaaaand I recovered our headboard! I could not love it more! It matches perfectly with our new sheets and bedding and just makes me feel better about life.
This beauty finally got hung last night!
3. Red velvet heaven.
The hands down best froyo place in Durham (Local Yogurt) had my all time favorite flavor this Tuesday - red velvet cake. I frequently call them to see what their flavors are and almost died of joy upon hearing "red velvet." And husband was nice enough to suggest we go. Didn't even have to ask. Boom. Winning.
4. Lolz.
I got to hang out with this cutie and her sweet mama this week. I let Kate play on my phone while her mom & I were talking. When I got home and went through my phone I found tons of hilarious pictures she had taken without me even realizing. SO cute.
5. Our first snow!
Liz...Love the lamp! You did an excellent job restoring it. Actually, the lamp belonged to my mom and dad before I inherited it...so it's lasted three generations:-) I hope you have a wonderful birthday weekend! Love you.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I had no idea it was your parents before you guys got it. So cool! The picture above is actually the before pic but it has a nice new coat of paint on it and a new lampshade!
